I went to this restaurant with my family after a very long interval. I have always had great memories of this place. We opted for the Rajasthani Thali.
Plus point 1: The ambience of the place is lovely with Gujarati and Rajasthani decor all around. A puppet show had just finished and they were dismantling the stuff as we entered. I felt sorry that we had missed that!
Plus point 2: The service is nothing short of excellent with the waiters attentive but not crowding you.
Plus point 3: The food was amazing. There were three vegetables, all with unique flavours. The dal and kadhi were yummy. They served the bhati separately and we could add it to the dal if we liked, creating an out-of-this-world dal bhati.
Plus point 4: There were three types of farsan of which I liked the mini batata vada the best. They served parathas, phulka rotis and bakri rotis.
Plus point 5: The food was hot when it reached the table - all the items. Then there were four sweets - a kheer, gulab jamun, moganthal and my favourite puran poli smothered in ghee. I refused the rest of them and absolutely relished the poli to the last.
Plus point 6: The chaas and jal jeera that we were served at the beginning were just perfectly flavoured.
A gorgeous culinary experience :)
Looks yummy!! :D
